thanks for checking us out! dream deli is a chef-driven sandwich shop inspired by our jewish and italian heritages, located on the vibrant corner of division street & 35th place in portland, or. we are a family owned and operated establishment, led by chef john bissell and his wife and partner, jessie levine.
we’re proud to make nearly everything we serve to you from scratch using the highest quality local ingredients we can find, supporting an ecosystem of local growers, producers, and makers. our breads and baked goods are made fresh daily, we cure our own deli meats, ferment our own pickles, and mix up scratch-made sodas, too!
every element of our space was built and designed by us to make you feel comfy, inspired, and well taken care of.

we accept orders for full loaves of our house-made bread with a couple days notice. same with our baked goods. deli meats and pickles can not be done in bulk at our current spot.
