Frequently Asked Questions
-
No we do not. We are a counter service restaurant where guests are served on a first come basis.
-
We sell out of popular menu items frequently on our busiest days (Saturdays). If you are visiting us on a Saturday and you have your heart set on something in particular, we recommend coming as close to our opening at 11am as possible.
-
There is street parking available on Division and the neighboring side streets. We are located on a vibrant, active stretch of Division street, so you may have to park up to several blocks away and walk. Public transportation is also a great option—the FX2 stops one block away from us.
-
Not particularly. The largest tables we have can fit up to three guests comfortably. If you are dining with a group larger than three people, we highly recommend planning your visit for a Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday.
-
We welcome children of all ages. Please plan accordingly, as we do not have a kids menu, high chairs, or booster seats. Please note that because our space is compact, we do not have space for storing strollers.
-
Yes, all the time. Because we focus on serving local, seasonal ingredients, our menu changes frequently. We also offer daily specials including sandwiches, sides, and beverages.
-
No we are not, nor are we a traditional Jewish deli by any stretch of the imagination. Our north star is serving the highest quality local ingredients (including pork!) prepared by skilled chefs.
-
Not currently. Because we make everything we serve in-house from scratch—including our deli meats—and we do not currently have smoking capabilities, pastrami is not on the menu… yet.
-
We are happy to make select sandwiches as salads upon request, and we often have gluten-free salads and sides on the menu, though we cannot guarantee zero cross-contamination.
-
We always have at least one vegetarian sandwich on the menu, as well as soups, salads, sides, and baked goods that are vegetarian. Our vegan options are more limited, though we are happy to make the vegetarian sandwich vegan upon request, and it is likely that we’ll have vegan sides, salads, and baked goods on offer.
-
With a few days notice, we can often sell you our house-made breads and pastries (Roman style focaccia, Japanese milk bread, sesame buns, soft pretzels, knishes, cookies, etc.). We do not currently have the capacity to sell deli meats or pickles in bulk.
-
We are increasingly able to accommodate catering requests and larger orders, but they must be arranged with a member of our team in advance. Please email howdy@dreamdelipdx.com to inquire.
-
We accept many forms of payment, including cash (preferred), all major credit cards, gift certificates, and Apple Pay.
